The Well Watch 700 is the worlds first and only commercial grade sonic water level meter designed for municipal, agricultural, and oil/gas applications. This Patented system monitors water levels by sending a powerful acoustic pulse into the casing and doing a simple time/distance calculation on the reflection. Sonic sensors are externally mounted so there is nothing to lower into the well allowing it to operate on wells containing caustic water, oil or pressurized gas. Installation is simple and there is no yearly maintenance or calibration, eliminating the expensive initial and recurring fees common with other measurement technologies.
Each Well Watch 700 water level meter kit comes with the 710 Controller and 730 Probe. The 710 & 730 will need to be hardwired together using 4 conductor cable and will also need to be hardwired to an external power source of 12-36V or can be powered using our 10W or 30W Solar Power Kits.
The 710 Controller can be din rail or wall mounted in an enclosure that offers protection from environmental factors. The controller includes screw terminals for power in & ground, external alarms that can be used to control third party switches, flow meter inputs and multiple outputs, including RS232, RS485 Modbus, 4-20mA and 0-5V. This unit is also capable of communicating with telemetry/SCADA.
The Well Watch 730 is designed to easily externally mount onto the threaded 2″ port, diagonal or vertical, located at the base of most turbine pumps. It’s versatility also allows to be necked down to fit access ports as small as 3/4″ or to be mounted onto a 3/4 or 1″ sounding tube using our custom machined brass Sounding Tube Adapters (Part 5365 & 5366).
