Whether you are interested in monitoring a home well or are managing a community water system, the Well Watch 670 offers simple, real time readings. This self venting sensor easily installs in the well cap by mounting in the vent hole using one of the included threaded nozzles. Once power is applied the sensor will begin reading at an interval of your choosing, between every second and every 24hrs. The real time and logged data can be viewed on the LCD screen or can be downloaded into a program of your choosing. It may also be paired with the 310 Remote Display for a wireless display up to 300ft away or hardwired to a few thousand feet.
The Well Watch 670 utilizes low frequency sound waves to provide continuously updated, accurate levels. Our frequencies can travel around angles, corners or coils of pipe allowing the freedom to install the Well Watch 670 at the most convenient location for that site. This eliminates the need to lower objects into the well, such as intrusive water tapes, bubblers or transducers. These methods open your well to contamination issues and tend to get stuck in the pump wiring resulting in an expensive, time consuming fix. Each Well Watch 670 can measure from 10 to 7000ft, with no need for customized lengths. This sensor excels at wells from 1/2″ up to 10″ in diameter with submersible pumps. For wells larger than 10″, or with turbine pumps, we suggest stepping up to the commercial grade Well Watch 700.
The Well Watch 670 and 700 sensors include multiple outputs to communicate with your existing Telemetry/SCADA system. You can choose from RS485 (Modbus), RS232, 4-20mA or 0-5V. If you don’t have telemetry you can use the internal data logger to store up to 25 million time/date stamped log points, or use both and utilize the log as a back up in case of a connection failure. We can also help provide suggestions for new telemetry installations capable of monitoring and control of multiple sensors (including level, flow, weather, etc.). Systems available can be cellular or radio based depending on the requirements and terrain.
